Mini-Profile Editor
I installed a new plugin on the forum last night that allows you to to add a background image to your avatar in your mini-profile. It will also allow you to change the color of the text within the mini-profile.
Go to your Profile>edit profile>personal settings and then scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see the new editor.
If you have an image that will not fit the way you want then the dimentions of the background are width 172 and length 300, though it can be better to go up to 400 in the length dept.

The best way to use the resizer and hosting sites is to first save the image to your computer. Then go to the resize image tool and follow the directions. Then resave that image to your computer replacing the original. Then go to the hosting link and follow the instructions. You will find the new image link within the code that this site generates for your image. The reason you need to host the resized image yourself is because the image generated by the resizer will go away after 20 min or so. If you have any questions feel free to ask. The latter link will also allow you to host an image yourself in case the link to image is invalid due to copyright or wrong format.

Your regular avatar will of course sit on top of the background and you can edit it as normal so that it better suits your background or leave it the same, up to you to toy around with, just thought you would like to be made aware. Thanks and please note that it can be better sometimes to use an avatar image with a transparent background as this will not block more of the image of of your mini-profile background. Not needed though. There is also a link above that will remove the background from an image.
On a side note
When getting this plugin set up I was looking around at others and just installed some simple ones for the hell of toying around with them. The first is instead of just liking someones post you can LOL at it. I know you have just been dying to do this! It is the smily button next to the like button. Also a reply to post plugin was added. If you look directly below this text you will see a box where you can enter a comment. The mini-profile will also now scroll along the page. I really do not know that these are good for anything but was just toying around and the previous three may or may not stay depending on if the league ends up liking them or not. Also you probably saw that your name changed color and was bolded. This is another plugin that allowed me to make them their respective teams primary color. If you want to change the color of the text in your mini profile and want your team colors then here is a link to the MLB color codes for each team teamcolorcodes.com/mlb-color-codes/
